Greetings from MASO,

On behalf of the Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO), I am very pleased to invite you to participate in our Biennial Scientific Conference (MASO 2023) to be held from 4th to 5th September 2023 at Marriott Putrajaya.

In the context of the global escalating obesity prevalence, the theme of this year's conference “Curbing Obesity: A Shared Responsibility” hope to highlight this major public health concern and our collective responsibility to address this issue. Through this conference, we aim to bring together experts from various fields to discuss the latest research findings, innovative strategies, and effective policies for curbing obesity and to showcase the multi-disciplinary nature of obesity research.

We hope that this forum will provide a platform for fruitful discussions, productive collaborations, and meaningful interactions among all participants. We hope that the discussions and collaborations at this event will contribute to effective strategies for curbing obesity, which is a shared responsibility of individuals, communities, healthcare providers, policymakers, and industries.
